Role Description

The Joshua Tree Foundation and Cador Property Development Corporation (CadorCorp.com) are actively soliciting for a Chief Science Officer, Chief Technology Officer, 2-3 Advisory Board Members, as well as several analysts and interns to join our team. It is our hope to build a diverse, balanced team with an advisory board that is happy to act as subject-matter experts on a variety of issues we may face as we fundraise and scale up or pivot.

Chief Science Officer:

  • Pursuing or holds PhD in field of study related to Environmental Sciences with specialization/thesis relating to carbon sequestration or negative emissions technologies, even if naiscent

  • Familiarity and operational expertise with most updated frameworks, execution, and verification vis-a-vis UNFCCC CDM a must

Chief Technology Officer

  • Cross-custodian net-settlements; P2P Trade and Settlement (DLT-based systems); Asset/Security tokenization; Edge computing; Web3

  • Pursuing or holds Bachelors from a Top 20 US undergrad institution; M7 MBA looked upon favorably

  • High level of interest in Cross-custodian net-settlements; P2P Trade and Settlement (DLT-based systems); Asset/Security tokenization; Edge computing; Web3; Layer 2

Advisory Board Member

We would give preference to Advisors with operational expertise in the following areas:

  • Cross-custodian net-settlements; P2P Trade and Settlement (DLT-based systems); Asset/Security tokenization; Edge computing; Web3

  • Carbon Capture & Storage Technologies; DLT Supply-Chains (especially with regards to warehousing and lights-out manufacturing)

  • Real estate brokers or landmen with a strong rolodex and and experience putting together JV or Seller-Financed deals in Data Centers, Solar, Wind, & Mining - with STRONG preference for Enterprise Data Centers

  • 2 year, vested monthly, @ 25bps.

Taking a step back, the Advisor(s) would generally speaking be engaged in one or more of the following activities:

  • Giving advice on business model strategy and positioning

  • Advice on user acquisition, product architecture etc,

  • Assisting in refining pitch decks and presentations

  • Introductions to potential investors

  • Introductions to key customers

  • Help identify and recruiting talent

  • Acting as a sounding board for organizational and people issues

  • Pursuing or holds PhD from North American or European institution

  • Field of study related to Environmental Sciences with specialization/thesis relating to carbon sequestration

  • Familiarity and operational expertise with most updated frameworks, execution, and verification vis-a-vis UNFCCC CDM a must

  • Founder equity contingent on successful development and third-party verification of CDM protocol

Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer

  • Pursuing or holds Bachelors from a Top 30 US undergrad institution

  • High level of interest in Cross-custodian net-settlements; P2P Trade and Settlement (DLT-based systems); Asset/Security tokenization; Edge computing; Web3

  • Operational experience developing backend for MPOS systems

  • Comfortable being hands-on in managing junior level developers; capable of stepping in and acting as PM/PMM where needed

BOARD ADVISORS

We would give preference to Advisors with operational expertise in the following areas:

  • Cross-custodian net-settlements; P2P Trade and Settlement (DLT-based systems); Asset/Security tokenization; Edge computing; Web3

  • Carbon Capture & Storage Technologies; DLT Supply-Chains (especially with regards to warehousing and lights-out manufacturing)

  • Real estate brokers or landmen with a strong rolodex and and experience putting together JV or Seller-Financed deals in Data Centers, Solar, Wind, & Mining - with STRONG preference for Enterprise Data Centers

  • Preference to advisors who are at a stage in which they are looking to volunteer and give back, but for the correct matchup our base offer is pretty standard and as follows: 2 year, vested monthly, @ 25bps.
